Rivers State Education Commissioner Commits to Improved Conditions at Health Science College

The Rivers State Government has reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to elevating the standards of tertiary education in the state, particularly in specialized institutions driving healthcare delivery. During a recent familiarization visit, the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr. Peters Nwagor, declared a comprehensive plan to upgrade the Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology.

The visit, which served as Dr. Nwagor’s first official assessment of the institution since assuming office, provided an opportunity to engage directly with the college’s management, staff, and students. Addressing the college community, the Commissioner emphasized that the current administration of Rivers State is deeply invested in sustainable human capital development, with health education serving as a cornerstone of this vision.
