…As BBNaija star, Tacha hosts the red-carpet

Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, is poised to make his second appearance at the annual Vanguard Personality of the Year Awards.
He will headline the show billed for Friday, April 24, at the Convention Centre of Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
2Baba first performed at the glamorous event in 2019, sharing the stage with Adekunle Gold and hosted by Bovi. This year, he’s taking the stage solo, as he will be dishing out his favorite songs and infectious dance steps.
Speaking on the awards night, the ‘African Queen’ crooner promised an unforgettable night of music and dance, showcasing his best hits as he takes the guests on a musical journey.
“It’s time again for the Vanguard Personality of the Year Awards 2026. I was at the event in 2019 and it was amazing. Amazing people, amazing time. This one will not be different. I will be there live on the 24th of April, 2026. I call on Lagosians to come out for the Vanguard Personality of the Year Awards 2026. I will take the guests on a musical journey,” he said.
Meanwhile, ex-BBNaija star Tacha will bring her signature glamour to the red carpet, which kicks off at 5 pm. As host, Tacha is set to spice up the evening with her bold personality, massive fan base, and remarkable dress sense. Also billed to entertain guests at the glamorous event is The Laolu Gbenjo Band, one of Nigeria’s most celebrated live music groups. Adding more excitement to the lineup is the Black Edge Performance Troupe.
The event, which honours outstanding individuals from various sectors promises to be one night of glitz, glamour, excitement, and glory in recognition of excellent service to the people.
