A famous Gorilla called Adamu , died unexpectedly and he had been one of the biggest attractions in Benin City Edo State Zoo -especially for the children.
Well, since the busy season for the Zoo was just around the corner And The President was coming to visit on Christmas Day and they did not have time to get a new gorilla, The President had Invested a Huge Amount in this Zoo and The Head Zookeeper Was Corrupt and had diverted most fo the funds . So The Head Zookeeper came up with this idea.
They had one of the other zookeepers called Gogo dress up in a complete gorilla outfit and pretend to be The Gorilla. This zookeeper really took to this new job and he got to be quite good at swinging from the branches, eating bananas and was fooling everyone or so it seemed . Even The Head Zookeeper got confused if this was still Gogo and decided to leave him there as Adamu The Gorilla since he was enjoying it !
On The Day The President and all the Dignitaries and Holiday Makers Came , however, he was a bit too enthusiastic. He ended up swinging a bit higher than expected and let go at the wrong time. He ended up sailing out of his cage and directly into the cage of the lion Named Osagie He wanted To shout For Help but couldnt
and was barely able to squeak out a tiny “help!” to the Zookeeper Who was Directly in front of The Lion’s Cage
The lion Roared Loud to the Delight of The President , Dignitaries and Guests
The Zookeeper walked over to him, got really close took of his zoo Hat to reveal he was a Monkey and whispered back.
“You better Shut up you this Stupid Fake Lion and Eat Him , or we will ALL lose our jobs!”
