Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu Celebrates Mrs. Pauline Furo Batubo at 80
The Rivers State Deputy Governor, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, has joined family, friends, and well-wishers to celebrate Mrs. Pauline Furo Batubo on her landmark 80th birthday. Speaking during a special thanksgiving service held in honour of the celebrant at the Chapel of Redemption, Rivers State University (RSU) in Port Harcourt, the Deputy Governor remarked that reaching the age of eighty in good health and sound mind is a rare blessing that deserves immense appreciation. She noted that Mrs. Batubo’s journey through life serves as an inspiration to younger generations, showcasing the beauty of living a life anchored on Christian values and community service.
“We are here today to celebrate not just the years, but the quality of life Mrs. Pauline Furo Batubo has lived,” Prof. Odu stated. “Her life is a clear testimony of what God can do when a person surrenders to His will. The Deputy Governor also commended the celebrant’s family for organizing the thanksgiving service, noting that celebrating parents while they are alive is a biblical command that attracts blessings.
