The National Working Committee (NWC) and the 2025 National Convention Organising Committee (NCOC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have reaffirmed their commitment to holding the party’s national convention on November 15 in Ibadan.
The PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, stated this in a Wednesday release in Abuja. Ologunagba, who also serves as Secretary of the Publicity and Communication Sub-Committee of the NCOC, emphasized that the convention has not been postponed.
He urged party members and Nigerians to disregard what he described as misleading claims being circulated by individuals, whom he alleged were recruited by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to disrupt the convention.
“The NCOC and the party will continue to work tirelessly around the clock to ensure a successful national convention in Ibadan, as scheduled.
“We thank Nigerians for their overwhelming support for our party, and the NCOC welcomes all delegates, party leaders, officials, and supporters of the PDP who have already begun arriving in Ibadan for the national convention,” he added.
